Everything around me all of a sudden changed from the 1st century to the 80's. The newly paved and painted roads turned into old gravel streets. The new seven story buildings turned into old cobble stone houses. The brand new sports car turned into an old Chevy. Then it hit me, we were in good old Philippi. After the plywood was all ripped down we examined the rest of the wood and we decided it was too rotted. So for the rest of the day we ripped down the rest of the porch roof. On the nd day we started out by framing the new porch roof. Then we started roofing. First we put down tarpaper, and then we started shingling. When we were three fourths of the way done with it, the mid-day sun was unbearable, so we were forced to get off the roof. Then for the rest of the day we filled up the hole in the front yard with dirt. We also took the three broken windows out and replaced them with larger ones. The next day we finished shingling the porch roof and were about to start shingling the other roof when we realized that we would need some kind of scaffold so no one would fall off.
